Background & Lore

Althea's origins are a mystery. Known only as the Sylvan Sage, she is a reclusive figure who appears in the Glim Hub at seemingly random intervals, governed by a rhythm only she understands. She is not a warrior or an adventurer, but a figure of immense, quiet wisdom.

Althea is a "Listener." She is so deeply attuned to the life-force of the world that she can perceive its state of being, which she calls its "song." While she never travels, this unique connection allows her to sense major cosmic disturbances as dissonant notes or jarring verses in the world's melody. It is through this sense that she became one of the first to notice the unnatural harmony of the Gaia Dimensions and the growing silence from the Void. She is a grounding force of peace in a world on the brink of a cosmic war.
